- A new application form must be completed each school year, even if you were approved the previous year.
- An application is necessary unless your child(ren) qualify automatically through Direct Certification. Questions about qualifying can be directed to Penny Pierce.
- Those families who wish to apply for free or reduced price meals are to fill out the form and return it to the District Office as soon as possible. Once a family is approved for free or reduced price meals, the application is valid for the entire school year.
- Families whose income changes to make them possibly eligible during the school year may apply at any time by calling the District Office. A certain percentage of applications will be randomly chosen and will be required to provide proof of their income.

Email Balance Updates
Balance information can be obtained on the parent portal portion of our student records system, Infinite Campus. For user name and password, contact the school office. If your email is up to date in Infinite Campus, messages are sent out about once a week for negative balances. It is recommended that parents do not let the account go into the negative, as students may be denied school lunch.
Students in grade 7-12 will be charged $1.00 for second helpings. This applies to all students regardless of free or reduced eligibility. Students who plan on eating second helpings must have a positive balance in their account or they may be denied a second helping. There is no charge for second helpings of salad bar items.
Any student whose family balance is negative and who does not pay for lunch that day may be denied lunch that day and should bring a lunch from home. Checks can be made payable to Drummond School. Any cash should be sealed in an envelope with the child(ren)'s name on it.

End of the School Year Procedures
Graduating seniors who owe money may not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. If there is a positive balance in a graduating senior's foodservice account, the family will receive a refund.
4K-11 students with a negative balance at the end of the school year may deliver or mail payments to the District Office. If there is a positive balance in a 4K-11 account at the end of the school year, it will carry over to the next school year.
